I noticed this yesterday on my way over to Coupeville. That is almost certainly an Atlantic giant patch. Its right on Highway 20 next to the swinomish channel in between Mt.Vernon and Anacortes. Any of you Washingtonians out there know who's patch this is? Who ever it is, They are growing on some of the most naturally fertile soil in the world. That's not an exaggeration. I read a published study once where they tested soil from various fertile agricultural areas around the world and the dirt from skagit valley was the best in the study.
