I built a 2nd greenhouse this week. I watered down the patch to help break down the lime that I added. Then I tilled the patch and hand broadcast buckwheat. Buckwheat will do well in the heat that is surely coming this summer. We have hit the low 90's the last couple of days.
The first 2 plants are in the ground! 1756 Lancaster 12 and 1391 Wuersching 12. The first 6 kins all are very nice and almost equally aggressive in growth. I am very blessed to have that tough decision to make. I re-potted 2 of the others. I plan on putting out 2 more tomorrow.
I started batch #2 (7 kins) on 5/5 and all but 1 are either pushing dirt or up.
