The other plants awaiting their turn and hardening off outside in my new high-tech greenhouse. The frames beside the greenhouse are made of 1/2 inch PVC and will be covered with foil emergency blankets using PVC clips. These will go inside the hoop houses covering the giant pumpkins at night. Just covering with an emergency blanket at night will increase the temp by at least 5 C with no other heat source. Just the soil heat being reflected back. An easy way to keep it warmer at night with no electricity needed.
