Today I finished the first entire dig (by hand) of my small patch. It has taken me about 4 sessions. Blood, Fish, Bone and Lime has been added all over. It's been a slow dig with trying to remove the tree roots, and also the noodle like roots of bindweed with my fingertips.
The next part of my plan is to add some Mg Sulph (Epsom salts) and some chicken manure pellets, as well as a small amount of home made compost concentrating around the planting site.
