Here we go again! Got my soil test reports back. I am a little confused about how the results can be so different from what I got in the Fall from the samples I sent to U-mass. for Patch A U-Mass said I had an organnic Matter of 13.3% and a Cation Exchange Capacity of 35.5. The only thing I did was put on some calcitic lime for PH and plant a cover crop and yet western Labs is saying I have an OM% of 4.6 and a CEC of 8. I realize there is going to be some variation do to having different samples and testing methodology but that really isn't even close. Makes me wonder about how useful any of this data is.
