My melon lifting ring. The ring consists of the same rings I make my pumpkin lifting rings with. There are 3 ring welded and supported with 1/4" cold rolled steel. The ring is 13" x 39" and has 8 straps and a closing straps. All straps are 1" tubular nylon rated for 4,200 lbs. I am rating the ring for 800 lbs. I have 2, 5 gallon buckets taped together to look like a melon. The ring can be adjusted by lengthening or shorting straps where attached to the ring.
