I won't sleep too easy tonight or any night until I get a higher gate up for the new plot. The cats can get into it. I just put up a short temporary fence made up of the old fencing left over which I cut in half because I didn't have enough to surround the whole thing. I'm worried about the cats jumping the short fence and crapping in the soil. On the bright side, once I put a fence to keep them out, they do a great thing. There are no mice around here anymore. They keep the rodents down which eat your fruit directly. I won't be the one getting disqualified next year...haha I hope.
