I worked so hard this weekend. I rented a tiller then fought the roots at the edge of the plot facing the two main trees so that the roots deeper underneath the soil would no longer be feeding the tree, and so that they can rot and break up easily when I shovel the soil next time or before I plant. This is for the new melon plot. Even though I have a major set back it doesn't stop me from growing. I hope it pays off next season.
