it was a boring &raining otherday,so i built a carrot growing contraption.peice of plastic gutter rigged up with bolts &blind holders so can be cranked open when growing,2peices over lapping window screen to hold soil ,breathe&stab a water injecter below roots .put ice paks around top to drop soil temp a bit.(didnt turn light till came out ground today).got a vent ready for a humidyfier when gets colder &build case around top.the soil is 5gallon rabbit manure 25#s sand &2small scoops from wood stove.ground&sifted threw a 16th" screen.
