Got half the plant pulled out this morning with Joshua's help! Tap roots were massive, most so big they would not come out of the ground. I got one up and the root went 4 foot long before breaking off, who knows how long it was lol. Azos and mycos worked great.
I found that the stem on the fruit where it connects to main vine is drying out from old age and rot is starting to go into the vine and stem. Only got 5 days before she gets weighed, don't think it will be any issue except if she starts loosing weight. Every pound might count this year with the big 4 growers coming to pumpkinmania, probably all having fruit around a 1000 lbs or larger.
