And the Delaney plant still looks good and also growing about 1/2 inch OTT per day but we also have another pumpkin on this plant...way out on the first secondary and pollinated on August 31st...be a nice carver!!
Some weighoff poker starting to happen now as I try and secure some numbers at our Aldor Acres Weighoff. Several growers have more than 1 pumpkin and are jockeying for position locally and then there is another weighoff in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, that some of us would love to attend and enter.
That decision will play out on October 12th at Aldor Acres and we'll see if Dave, Chad or myself can resist putting everything up on the scale, or save a couple and do an Island day trip the next day...
