As tremendous a pumpkin as the big one has been there is a descent chance I won't be growing a seed from that pumpkin this next year. The reason is because of this late pollination I set a week ago. This pumpkin is my 1421 Stelts x 1725 Harp. The 1725 Harp is a clone of the plant that grew the world record 2009. I have a 2nd pumpkin set with the same cross on that plant as well. With a little luck and good weather we will have seeds in 40 days.
