I don't know if I'm the first person to try this. A watermelon can't be grafted to a pumpkin. But it can be grafted to a squash. And a squash can be grafted to a pumpkin. haha behold the root system of dill's atlantic giant for your watermelons! This is kind of a dumb idea because I've never successfully grafted a watermelon to a squash alone, but then again I never really tried. I share this with you so that all you grafting masters can try it and let me know if it works. A double graft.
