This is the 1756 Lancaster plant, which is totally terminated. This year I experimenteed with 40% shade cloth over the growth tips, which is something I will do every year. I believe I have healthier plants with almost zero burn. This one has the leaking stump which is slowly getting better, growth on the pumpkin has been slow and steady. My hope is for healthier plants to push the growth longer this year. Time will tell.
