Thanks to Mark Clementzzzz of http://worldwidegiantgrowers.com/ for this great poster. My kids love the big green dinosaurs ! My melons love what it does for them. So far so good, all melons both regular & grafted are doing greatwell except for the one sitting on the deck that the rabbits ate the vine off, its not gaining much ! All melons are larger than any in the past. Im so excited I can hardly sleep ! I just hope they keep growing. I think I got the varmint problem solved. Thanks to all who offered suggestions. I tried them all. I think it was both the coyote urine & my neighbor bush hogging his field that did the trick. I have my 1st melon estimated at 200 lbs today. Never had one so early ! I hope its a good sign. Plants are as well as can be expected considering all the rain & varmint problems. The grafted plants have bigger vines but are also showing more disease issues. If the wet cool summer continues its going to be tough keeping them healthy to the end !
