Did some vine maintenance last night on the 1614. Too bad, the pumpkin has no cracks, splits, etc., it just stopped growing. I expected the vines to be soft and rotten, but it was just the opposite. With all the moisture in the ground, the vines did not have a drop of juice in them. It seems the pumpkin just stopped growing because there was nothing flowing through the vines.
