Last night we had a thunderstorm which brought with it a ton of rain so this morning I cut a few secondary's, chopped off a load of pumpkins on secondary's and chopped off as many tendrils as I could get rid of so that it would take some water pressure away from the growing pumpkins. At 17.00 hrs today came torrential rain unlike any I have seen before. This photo shows moderate flooding at one part of the journey home. Other parts had rivers dissecting the roads. The Mrs was worried about the car, I was worried about my pumpkins and I have no idea how much rain they recieved in that part of Nottingham.
