Just looked up sittin at thee ole computor and saw a groundhog exit my shop and proceed towards the melons and squash plants. Grabbed my daughters .410 (less collateral Damage around plants) and hurried out the door quitely. Got up to the Patch fence and this lil guy was sniffing the 2 dap 645 P.Sweet set about to enduldge when..... I whisted and when he took one step back..... there he lays. The plant and Fruit Set didn't come out unscaved. The main vine after the set caught a pellet and I had a rag over the set for the sun but a pellet hit the rag tearing off the blossom end and another pellet nicked the stem. Here we go again on the squash stem.
