Thought the bad luck was over and then the storms came. Found out stacked dog kennels don't work as a trellis. Going to miss these guys. Had a couple in the 6' range. To ad salt to the wound they collapsed onto my giant sunflowers. Yep they're flat. The wind played havoc with the 4 melon plants closest to the trellis. They also look rough. I'll weigh my options as to whether or not to pull them or leave them. Hoping Monday brings good surprises.
