On Casper over the winter I crossed the Fat Boy c. pepo with the Giant White Cushaw c. moschata. The White Cushaw is a very large and rock solid squash very heavy for its deminsion so I'm trying to incorperate that into the Fat Boys deminsions. I had Giant White Cushaw seeds from some I bought last year and got the seeds out of. Of course both the Fat Boys and the Cushaws were open polinated but with that said they were in huge open fields so I'm hoping the bees stay somewhat confined to those areas and by the first looks of the fruit I have coming off...they may well have done just that. Heres a link that helped me to decide on what to cross the Fat Boy with: http://www3.ag.purdue.edu/counties/allen/Documents/Hort%20ACH31%20Cross%20Pollination%20in%20Cucurbits.pdf
