these clouds are really slowing things down the past few days but with how much rain we've had.. if today had been more sunny, i would be scurd of exploding pumpkin. i'm abit concerned how the rip on the left is already sinking in. i hope that it "rolls over" too the left as it expands into it's noticeably wider shape, thus the top ridge sitting right on center, instead of to the right slightly. there are two nice 6 lobes still set to open on Terminated "main like" secondaries in a few days, can't beat insurance. the stem on this pumpkin was bigger from the start but if a nice long 6 lobe sets i might have to keep my options open on this plant. there is another big storm rolling up the eastern seaboard. i.. could throw some plastic over the plant to shed some of this water!
