Pollinated my first giant watermelon today, 209 Holloway x sib at 9 feet on the main. I only had a single male from the pollinator and since that is the only melon inside dome #2 (hence no chance of pollen contamination), I did not cover the male flower. Only problem with that was I woke up to a torrential downpour this morning, so the flower was all wet and pollen may have washed away. We'll see..........
