On the other end of the patch is the Northrup which keeps defying my expectations by growing pretty fast despite being only about 10 feet out on the main vine. This is day 10. I pollinated a female flower about 4 feet beyond this one yesterday morning. I figured this would be my real pumpkin for the season, but, so far it has not shown signs of taking off. So the one pictured could be the one I stay with.
