On 6/25 I pollinated my first pumpkin on the 1770 Lieber using the 1684 Delaney. A nice 5 lobe at around 10 ft out. My plan starting out this season was to use the 1770 as my pollinator for the 1684, so I only gave this plant 8'x15' (120 sqft) to grow, the area is mostly filled in and I don't have a of space left, so I'm hoping this one takes. BTW, the 1770 males are all sterile.
If this one takes, it will be the pumpkin I take to the Champlain Valley Fair on August 24th, so I only have about 60 days. Grow!
