806 Shymanski here. I've wondered over the years battling YVD if some plants have some resistance. This is one of my fair plants that showed it on the last 2-3 feet of the main. I cut it off along with 3 good feet of vine and so far no more signs. Growth has not slowed which normally happens. I had a couple squash vines a couple years ago that never totally succumbed to the disease but I never got a fruit to set on them. I blamed the disease but maybe it was inbreeding or something else. Since then I just started pulling the plants to help eliminate the spread. Just couldn't do it to this former stripey as she shows the early dark color that should go TENNESSEE ORANGE.
