Nearly four weeks after the covers went on and so far they are holding up way better than they ever have. Just a few tiny holes here and there and one spot where rust on a hoop frayed the cover open a little bit. That hoop has now been wrapped with a scrap of row cover. In the past by now there would be several softball to basketball sized holes along the peak, so the improved domes are kicking butt. Also very happy to report that not a single aphid has been detected in either dome, a gigantic improvement over last year.
