This is the first female on the 866 Vandrey. She showed up 2 days ago at around 7 foot on the main and this threw me for a loop. Last year was my first year of growing giants and I had so many male flowers I was beginning to think that I was going a pumpkin from boys town. This time around no males to be seen. I pinched it off hoping anyways hoping for more plant and something further out. I just hope this plant can survive my mistakes and show me what she's made of.
