pollinated the 12' female yesterday with 1381. nice 4 lober. the 5 day old female on the 1421.5 is still shiney and grew more in stem length and was on the ground yesterday so looks to have hopefully set. 3 day old female at 10' on 1381 is growing and still shiney so fingers crossed there with at least one pollinated on each plant. no big s curves for these earlier insurance sets. last year's 1354 at 11.5' was insurance pumpkin with little curve and short stem so that has been dealt with before. now all three prime pollinations will be in high heat 90 plus temps. ice bottles and fans ready. 3 svbs in traps so iwill spray tonight with backpack pump sprayer on last cool night for a while. more misting heads will be added to fill out patch to help cool soil from reflective heat. stihl fogger will come out next week after heat breaks with fungicide mix as hot and humid equals disease.
