Strawberry season is all but over here at it's been a good year. This leaves a little more time to catch up on the patch before blackberries and peaches get here. Had a female open on one of my own 1051's. She started out as a stripey but not very dark...... WHAT'S THIS, I TYPED THE WORD STRIPEY AND IT GOT UNDERLINED.... Spell check? Thanks Ken!!! .....Back to the female. She had 5 lobes and 10 stripes. I assume 1 stripe for each half lobe. I'll be watching and counting. Doubt that it means a thing but who knows. I only have 1 other 1051 plant so if she doesn't throw a greenie I'll keep this plant to se if she can throw a HDA winner like her momma. I'll self her if she is the one just in case.
