Couldn't take it any longer. It kept getting wider and wider so I yanked it. Now there is this big hole right in the middle of the field. I really wasn't pleased with where I had put the 274 Kent so it will get moved. I know it's late and melons don't like you tickling their feet but at least I know this spot is in better shape as far as ferts go. Planted a couple 23.25 Zappa sunflower seed for my first attempt at those. Thanks Lee. And I have a few tomatoes started for later in the season 5.08 Maston, Ciesielki and Delicious. I'm not much of a tomato grower but I'll do my best. Thanks guys.
