I also took pap's advice and have the plant with the stump facing west so it gets plenty of dry time and hopefully won't have any stump issues with the sun getting to it regularly. Growing West to east. One week into June now and the plants really need to grow in order to set kins in time. My daughter is doing very good with her 596 Ciesielski she is growing. It's the 2nd biggest plant here and has graduated up to having silt fencing around it because of its growth rate, it was out growing thee daily adjustment on the hoop it was in. She won't let me come near almost,lol. Wants to do it "ALL" on her own this year. My Tractor is back together and yes I'm down sizing the width on the cultivator, lol.
