Had such a wet ad cool spring that I couldn't get the beds ready to plant the commercial melons this year. I finally transplanted the seedlings but they were so root bound that they never recovered. I tilled them under. With no commercial buffet the bugs only have one small diner left at which to find a meal. Sure am glad the systemics are working. A multitude of leaves look this way. My season could be over and I don't even know it yet. Found squash bugs yesterday also. Strange how 2 days ago there wasn't a sign of a bug.
