When I worked in commercial real estate management years ago in the Dallas Fort Worth area I always seen the Plant proffesionals adding volcanic rock in the bottoms and mid sections of those huge plant pots like in malls and office lobbys..I was told that it provides very good oxygen to the root structure...so I've added it to the Sundstrom plant to see if theres a noticable difference because all the plants are getting the same feeding routines and products. I guess thats why I always wished for someone on the hawaian islands to grow an AG..lots of volcanic stone and look how well the vegitation grows. nuff said
