This is the 1684 7 days after transplant. I've been able to keep the soil from dipping too far below 70F at night by using a space heater and closing up the cold frame before the sun goes too far down in the evening. I'm concerned about the coming cold snap where they are predicting low 30's. I don't have soil cables this year, as last year I put a shovel through one in the fall when removing the pumpkin from the patch. Those sure would be nice right about now.
