It's been one week since transplanting the 1684 and 1770 into the cold frame. After the first few days progress was slow, but the past four have really been great. Both plants have received a couple of drenches and growth has quickly accelerated.

I am concerned about the 1684 Delaney however. I've noticed the stem is really thickening, too much maybe. I'm concerned it could be the start of a double vine, but don't have enough experience to say one way or the other. Luckily I have back up plants going just in case, but I don't want to wait too long to find out it's a double vine waiting to happen.

Any growers know if this pic looks like the tell tale sign of a double vine starting, or is it me just being paranoid?
