Plum trees are full of blossom, we have had a few ground frosts while they were out but no air frosts, so should be ok. Asked a retired UK weather forcaster what the summer will be like - after a long technical comment, in brief he thinks it will be similar to last year, changeable but mainly cool/wet. Our weather is influenced by the Jet Stream, higher temp. in the artic/lower temp. in the tropics - lower differential = weak jet stream, this means it will wave across us to the north and south of the UK bringing short spells of hot/dry or cool/wet for the whole of the year.
Not what I wanted to hear but he may be right?
