9' x 12' sheets of plastic are at each planting site to help warm the soil. No electric, so no heating cables! At 8" deep, the soil is 14 degrees warmer under the plastic, than outside the plastic. Each plant will get a 30' x 35' space. The packed down area up the middle is the path for my garden cart.
