The patch after the sun melted the snow away. You can see that the patch on the left had more vetch than rye and that the cold spell has knocked the vetch out. The right hand side patch vetch has been battered but a thick sowing of rye exists. I'm going to try and keep these cover crops going as long as possible and dig in just before the plant as it grows. Left side patch: 980 Fredricks and right side patch for 1770 Lieber. Foreground pact to the right: 854.5 Frei and finally the left side patch in the background will be home to 1290 Poirier (not sure of back-up plant)
