Started the 2013 patch prep today by building our first long gourd trellis. We will be building one other one in a week or two depending on the weather. The trellis is 16 feet tall but will be buried (once the ground thaws) approximately 2 feet. The top is 12 feet long and 4 feet wide and it is covered with plastic coated fencing. Three of us built it in about 2 hours and were able(just barely) to lift it upright. We have 2 x 4s supporting it at an angle on the ground until we can bury.
