met a grower selling seeds on ebay. I saw a picture of a beautiful smooth real orange fruit in his pictures. About 800 lbs he said. I asked what seed grew it? He said 980 Fredricks! I was cool! It grew well, and went very heavy. It was growing fast but he told me he didn't lift the vine by the stem and it got a stem split from grower error at 600 lbs and then slowed donw after the split on the stem. Weighed at gpc weigh off.
I am more and more impressed with the incredible consistancy of red orange, smooth beautiful fruit grown from the 980. And big too. Makes me want to grow it again and show off what the seed can really do. hhhhhhmmmmmm.
