Testing lifting ring and straps. Used a 26" drill hole reamer weighting 5,000 lbs. Was difficult to get it balanced. Reamer was lifted a little off center of the top of the ring. Ring was distored but straps and it's sewing and buckles did not fail and whole ring and straps could be used again.
