Gave a little love to the new patch today. Did a good soaking of molasses, kelp and humic acid...... I'm going to hit it once a month all winter to keep all the little critters under the soil happy!:)

This cover crop is only a couple weeks old and really kicking butt! This is a new patch, I did a couple here last year just for fun,,,, I think Tom P. was the only one that I shared to about this patch to be. The soils was like a rock and dry and dusty as could be....... I brought a backhoe in a couple months ago. I dug down 4 feet and turned all the soil under. I added the 10 yards on Chino State prison cow poop, another 5 yards of veggie compost, bags and bags and bags of leaves then tilled it every way possible!!!!

The soil is looking really, really good now:):) I haven't done a soil test but plan to as soon as spring arrives........
