This was our project today. My wife wanted raised beds for a few vegetables so we used pool deck wood to make these. They are 7 feet by 4 feet and 20 inches high. We filled them 3/4s with new patch dirt that was real sandy and finished the top 6 inches with compost. Each box took 1.7 yards of material. It always surprises me how many shovels and wheelbarrow loads that is. LOL We will be sleeping well tonight!
