Getting ready for our 4th and final weigh off but falling behind on diary entries from last weeks Monster Madness weigh off at Doylestown. It is always good to catch up with the growers from that club at a nice layed back weigh off. The Honesdale gang did pretty good with Dyberry patch Andy coming in 2nd with his 1191 pound monster on his 1303 Sweet and me taking 4th with the shapliest pumpkin on the planet, "Sophia" at 942.5 pounds. Andy also stole the show and chased away the squash competition with his 595.winner. The highlight of our trip was TC our newbie in training grower hitting his first weigh off with his own entry. What a thrill for teachers and pupils... he was like a kid in a candy store and quite proud of his 229.5 chewed on "pretty girl" as he named her. It was a fun time for all ..
