Well,, the stem is gone and there's some deep rot going into the stem area. I cut all vines around the 985, rocked it back and forth and wa-la,,, sitting up straight like a good girl :)
I'm not taking down all the fences twice and weigh off isn't for another 4 weeks so I have a team of 8 guys coming tomorrow to try and lift this bad boy! A giant drop cloth, bare hands and brute strength!!! We will then try and get her into the back of my truck, on a pallet then off to Jim Fredricks house on Saturday to get an official weight... If it doesn't work, the 985 will then be placed in the front yard and be ready for the October display :):)
So wish us luck tomorrow and make sure to say a little prayer around 4pm. when this all goes down!!!!
Oh yea,,,, when you put them standing straight up like this,,,, they look huge!!! :):):):):)
