Unbelievable..972.1 lbs!! 7% heavy (11.8% old chart)
Not our biggest fruit..but a very satisfying one. We had disease pressure on all plants from week one on out, and with a crazy hot summer,,(hottest days ever here,,109f) and one of our wettest summers (12 plus inches in august alone)we managed to get three fruit to the finish line. And win with them at that. What a year..hard work,,and some good luck and all the sweaty, hot hours in the patch spitting out gnats and mosquitos are all worth it and forgotten..LOL.
Plans for next year are already brewing...
