I won a gold medal for the ornamental gourds. (A chocolate one awarded by my grandaughters) They sowed the seeds - planted the seedlings in tubs and watered the plants every week when they visited and then harvested today.
The gordes will go in a harvest festival display at their other Nan`s church where she is a Methodist minister.
So good job all round and now we get to eat the chocolate.
