Dyberry Patch Andy had a good day and represented Honesdale well. His 1177 Haist won the squash award at 910.5. It was solid. He then followed up with a 4th place finish and a new personal best with a 1179. That 1674 Marsh went 9 percent heavy to the new chart to. If my math is correct those 2 fruit combined is a 2084.5 lb. effort. I say that because we have our own challenge brewing as we planted 3 of the same plants this year and the combined fruit weight winner owes the other a "BEER". This is a war. In addition to the * 1177 Haist, 1674 Marsh our third entry will be the 1662 Stelts. Andy has set the bar high with his first two entries. Hmmm I may weigh my 1674 this weekend in Cooperstown. I know its a lot uglier than my 440 was so I am hoping for some of those heavy genes to put up a big number for me. Will I finally hit 4 digits with it..... Maybe???
