I think the kin is still alive, the vine is green and stout still but measurements indicate it isn't growing. It tapes right at 300 pounds and exceeded my goal for this first time out. Its a nice gourd with good shape and color and its been a total joy to grow it. Looking forward to seeing you Socal growers at Pumpkinmania in 6 weeks!
