I boosted the temp on the Potash up this mornin to 104 degrees because with the rains the soil temp is down and I want to maintain the temp of the potash at the root level at around 82 degrees for maximum influent capabilities. I've got a field Pumpkin that is lovin this stuff also. I got clear into the patch of field pumpkins to get a close up look at em and forgot to bring the tape so I'll get a measurement next time. I didn't know that field pumpkins could get all canalouped like AG's...man this thing is big and is all heavy and wide on itself again something I Haven't seen a field pumpkin do before but of course I have never shoved so much calciums and well just everything I've been feeding the AG's I feed to the FP's. I've got a twin bed sheet fold and quartered and it won't fit over it and I did take a bathroom scale with me to slip under it but I honestly couldn't get a good grip to lift it up so my daughter could slip the scale under it...I'll just get back out there to measure again,,don't think its a record breaker but its the biggest FP I've ever grown and I've been growin them for a bit over 30 yrs..I do know I'll have to load it with my Yanmar loaders front bucket thats for sure. Again its all in on the feeding of the Kins this last month before the weigh off up at Homer Glenn. I wonder if they'll weigh this field pumpkin if I drag it up there too. lol
